Turner’s Sweet WheeksAbyssinian Guinea Pigs Himalayan, TSW and Broken
|
last revision 04/08/2008
I am currently working to bring the Himalayan Abyssinian back to the show arena in Arizona.
Amy Kanuchok started this program. I took over after the birth of her son. She started with Himalayan Americans and black Abyssinians. Recreating a color variety from scratch is an exciting, if sometimes disconcerting, challenge.
I am a member of Grand Canyon State Cavy Club, Arizona State Rabbit and Cavy Breeders Association, American Cavy Breeders of America and American Rabbit Breeders Association.
It is my goal to produce Abyssinians that are as close to the ARBA SOP as possible, with health and good temperament being critical considerations. Whether my cavies are destined for show, breeding or pets, I want them to be healthy and temperamentally sound.
My cavies come to me thanks to the work of some wonderful breeders, including but not limited to:
Amy Kanuchok, Guinea Pig A.R.K.
Brittany Bellows, Brigliadore Farm
Dana Kolstad, Red Star Caviary
James Nielsen
Robert Spitzer
